Instructions

Caramelize the Onions

  • In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add sliced onions and a pinch of salt.
  • Stir frequently and cook for 25-30 minutes until onions are soft, golden, and sweet. Be patient!

Build the Broth

  • Add minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute.

Toast and Broil
