Description

Soft, chewy, and packed with gooey chocolate chips, these mini chocolate chip cookies are a dream in every bite! Perfectly portioned for snacking, gifting, or satisfying that sweet craving without going overboard. One bowl, no fuss just pure cookie joy.

Ingredients

Scale

1½ cups all-purpose flour (sifted)

½ teaspoon baking soda

¼ teaspoon salt

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

½ cup granulated sugar

⅓ cup packed brown sugar

1 large egg (room temp)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

¾ cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, cream the softened butter with both sugars using a hand mixer (or a sturdy whisk!) until light and fluffy.

Add in the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet, stirring gently until a dough forms—don’t overmix!

Fold in the mini chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough.

Use a teaspoon or small cookie scoop to form 1-inch dough balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 8–10 minutes, until the edges are just golden. (Don’t worry if the centers look soft—they’ll firm up as they cool.)

Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

✔ For chewier cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking.

No mini chips? Regular chocolate chips work too—just use a little less.

✔ Want an extra pop? Add a pinch of cinnamon or espresso powder to the dry ingredients.

✔ Cookies can be frozen after baking—just pop them in an airtight bag and they’ll last up to 3 months.
